Holiday Card

Taking a short break from using fabric and decided to get back to basics by making a holiday card. The background and image are both holiday tissue paper adhered to cardstock with natural beeswax. I even added a layer of old sewing pattern tissue over the background to give it that aged look that I love. I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by my nest!

Fabric Collage

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....not really, at least not here in Texas! However, regardless of the weather, I decided to create a Christmas fabric collage. This is roughly 9" x 7" in size and was another fun project to do using fabrics, paper and accessories. Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by my nest!

This is another fabric collage I created that is roughly 14" x 16".  The picture is printed on matte photo paper and is of my Mother-In-Law, Alice.  She is just 4 years old here, but turned 90 earlier this year.  Isn't she just adorable?  Thanks for stopping by my nest and have a great day!
