I was fortunate enough to get invited to attend an art play day yesterday hosted by a very sweet and talented lady named Jeri. Jeri has a studio in her home in McGregor, Texas and there were several talented and warm hearted ladies who also participated in this art play day. We had a lot of fun working on several art projects and we also had an awesome pot-luck luncheon and then pizza dinner...yum. These are the projects I had time to complete...but I left a little early!
This is a book that contains several french women with very little clothing on...hence the name "peep show".
This is an adorable vintage photo reproduction that was framed with old sewing pattern tissue just kinda gathered at will and glued around the matted photo.
This is a coaster book that contains several sweet vintage Easter images!
This is a piece of matboard covered with textured wallpaper, book print, vintage photo and then embellished with leaves, buttons, eggs and a flower!
Lastly, this is a wood block ATC that was painted and then embellished with paper, a vintage pic and some lace!
Thanks for stopping by my nest!

Robin, how lucky to be able to have a play day with girlfriends. My girlfriends all have "real" jobs so we can't get together during the day. Just usually get together for dinner with our husbands.
I'm loving your altered puzzle pieces. You know...these could be enlarged and cut out of chipboard so they're maybe 12" tall and used as wall art! Decorated, of course!
You've inspired me to try something!
Ah...another project! So many...so little time!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and signing on as a follower. So nice to have you there! Please come back anytime!
Blessings! Diane
You Texas women sure know how to have fun. What could be better than and Art Play Day?
