Altered Spoon

I recently picked up some old spoons while out thrift shopping and decided to try altering one of them. I have seen many different kinds of altered silverware out in blogland...all of them beautiful. I decided to make mine a Christmas ornament. I cut off part of the handle and curled the rest back to make a loop then I put burgandy colored velvet on the spoon and added trim and embellishments.
