Soldering Class

I got an opportunity to take a soldering class taught by Tina Wright of {glue on my fingers} paint in my hair at my local scrapbook store the Crafty Scrapper last night and I had a blast. I have been wanting to try my hand at soldering and had so much fun creating these 2 glass charms that I will be making more! Tina is an exceptionally talented and wonderfully warm person. Taking a class from her is like learning from your best friend. She is very attentive to everyone and when you are so apprehensive about soldering like I was...she makes learning a breeze. Please stop by her blog and say Howdy to my fellow Texan Tina and if you are ever in the Waxahachie area please be sure to stop by the Crafty Scrapper! Thanks for stopping by my nest!

Take Care - Robin

LOL. I wonder if non-Texans understand what "carry" means??? Everywhere I go lately, someone asks, "You carry?" or says "I'm glad I carry with all these crim'nals comin' in" etc etc.

Ohhhhhhh Robin, I wish I could have been there, I have wanted to try soldering charms for ages, and I just ordered a new soldering kit last week from some place, won't say where, but they are really really slow at processing orders. I just hope it get's here soon so I can try it out :)
I love your girl charms, you are soooooo lucky to have places like this to take classes at, there is nothing here.

Don't you just love soldering? I took my first class last week and will definitely be trying it out. However, KC Willis' collage camp is keeping me busy right now. Love the cowgirls!
