I bought a divided shadowbox type tray several months ago with the intention of some day altering it. Well, I finally had the opportunity to get this project done. I had so much fun looking through the vintage goodies I have collected at various Thrift/Antique stores throughout the years for just the right items that would fit inside each of the compartments. Some of the vintage items were gifts from very sweet blogging friends.
Thanks for stopping by my nest and for leaving such wonderful comments.

Hi Robin,
I love your vintage tray! I love looking at all the goodies/treasures you've collected. I can appreciate this box-it's right up my alley. Thanks for sharing with us. I would love to do one of these someday. Seeing yours makes me want to do it even more.

I just pinned this on one of my boards at Pinterest. It is so addicting but a great place for inspiration. Love what you did with this and know you had a comforting time making it!
A great arrangement, Robin. Especially like the word "Vintage" up top. Aren't these just such fun to make?
Well, I spy a few new items that you added. Looks good but the picture sure doesn't capture its real beauty. This is a Wow piece.
It's very beautiful, Robin! Aren't those type trays fun to fill with little treasures? I have one waiting but haven't gotten around to gather some pieces. The only thing that went right into it after I had painted it, was a small wooden spool of thread.
Have a lovely week :-)!

Julia

Hi Robin,
What heaps of fun. It is like each part of the box is its own room to be decorated. How enchanting.
