Thrifty Find - What Should I do With It?

I found this old cassette holder for $1.25 at my local thrift store and thought it would be a great way to store/organize my stamp ink pads. However, as you can see it needs some work. I need your advice on what you think I should do to spruce it up. Please give me your feedback. I welcome all of your suggestions/comments.

I would take the drawers out of the box and either hang them on the wall or line them up on a table/desk. That way your pads won't be sideways. Great find!

I love this!!! I say, take some matte gel medium and cover the outside with whatever you love, sheet music, some gorgeous paper or images that inspire you. On the fronts of the drawers, specify what's inside ~ nature, sayings, French....etc. make labels so you can find the stamps you want quickly. You can use those little metal things that are used in scrapbooking that are on the ends of photo boxes to slip in a piece of paper labeling what's inside....what a great idea!! xxoo, Dawn

Very cool.I think the winter edition of Somerset Life did this.. she sprayed it with spray paint for plastic and added tags to the front of the drawers for Neutrals, pastels, etc. I keep looking for one and now can't find any, who would've thought?
